Introduction

SENS motion® – for Research enables the collection of activity and accelerometer data in research projects.

The system consists of:

  • The SENS motion® activity sensor
  • Smartphone app for automatically transferring data to the cloud
  • Secure Cloud storage of collected data
  • Web-application for managing sensors, viewing and exporting data

Sleep:
  • Estimated sleep and wake time

How to use SENS motion® – For Research

Provide sensors to the people being activity-monitored.

The user-friendly patch and instructions allow each individual to replace the patch as required.

The activity and sleep is monitored 24/7

 

Data automatically transferred to the cloud

Data from the sensor is automatically and securely transferred to the cloud using the person’s own smartphone.

The status of sensors and measurements can be easily monitored using our online tool.

The minimal time needed for each sensor and measurements allows monitoring thousands of people.

VIA 11
The Danish High Risk and Resilience Study

SENS motion® provides more detailed monitoring of more than 500 children, including activity and sleep pattern monitoring, to look for early warning indicators for psychiatric health.

 

Om projektet:
Formålet med VIA 11 undersøgelsen er at undersøge, hvordan dit barn har det, når han/hun er 11 år gammel. Vi ønsker at opnå bedre indsigt i, hvordan opvækstforhold og arvelige forhold påvirker hinanden i forhold til psykisk sundhed. Vi ønsker at belyse, hvilke faktorer der giver barnet modstandskraft og robusthed i forhold til psykiske problemer og sygdom. Undersøgelsens resultater kan bruges til at øge muligheden for at forebygge psykisk sygdom i fremtiden og til at forstå mere om, hvordan psykisk sygdom opstår. Forskning er afgørende for, at videnskaben kan udvikle nye behandlinger og få bedre forståelse for sygdom og sundhed.
